trvldPrivacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
trvld is a travel map for keeping track of the countries and US states you've visited. It's built to keep your data yours.
What we collect
Nothing. trvld has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We don't run any servers that receive your data.
Where your data lives
Everything you add to trvld (the places you've marked as visited, the years you visited, your notes, and the photos you attach) is stored:
- On your device, and
- In your own private iCloud account, if you're signed in to iCloud. This lets your map sync between your devices and come back if you reinstall the app. This data is stored by Apple under your Apple ID, and we can't access it.
Photos
trvld uses the system photo picker, so the app only receives the specific photos you choose. It doesn't get access to the rest of your photo library. trvld saves a resized copy of each photo you pick.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device. To also remove the iCloud copy, open Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage › trvld and delete its data.
Children
trvld doesn't knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
